AfroNapoli United is a soccer team based in Naples, Southern Italy, composed mainly by young immigrants, included refugees and asylum seekers. Both regular and irregular migrants take part to the team. AfroNapoli offers them the opportunity to play sport sharing common values of solidarity and social inclusion. The team represents a different winning model inside an area characterized by criminality, racism, black market labour. From 2009, infact, the team won several local soccer prizes and cups. Moreover AfroNapoli obtained recognitions from local and national institutions due to its committment against racism and prejudices. On the field there are no racial, religious, national distinctions. Just good players are admitted.
